Atlanta - The late Nobel Prize-winning economist Milton Friedman, who would have turned 97 on July 31, wrote two international best-selling books on political and economic freedom. But he chose to devote his entire fortune to the promotion of school choice.
Join the Georgia Public Policy Foundation and economist Ben Scafidi for “Milton Friedman and the Legacy He Chose,” a Leadership Breakfast celebrating the birthday of the late Milton Friedman at 8 a.m. on Friday, July 31, at the Georgian Club in Marietta. Dr. Scafidi of the J. Whitney Bunting School of Business at Georgia College & State University discusses why Friedman believed school choice was so imperative and why it is needed in Georgia.
